In 2007, Dr. Clayton Lawrence, a trusted veteran of the U.S. Army, saw the need for a staffing company with a new philosophy that would bring forth excellence in providing healthcare for our active duty, veteran and civilian patients. In order to fulfill that need, Lawrence Executive Alliance of Professionals (LEAP), LLC was formed in the District of Columbia.
Dr. Lawrence, an African-American, was able to utilize a United States Army scholarship to realize his dream of becoming a physician. After bravely serving his country as an Army physician, he went on to train in Emergency Medicine at Harvard University. Continuing to serve his patients and his country, he has cared for military patients and their families, as a civilian physician, for years.
Given his unique experience, he saw an opportunity to bring forth a company that would be managed from the perspective of a physician -- where patient care comes first.
LEAP is certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as an 8(a) small business development participant. The company aspires to be the premiere staffing company in the country.
